“I think he (Volkov) will go backwards. He wants space, he wants distance, he likes to use leg attacks, high kicks. I will pressure you, I will not give you space or distance. I will put you on your heels. It's a smaller octagon, so it will be easier to press it. He misses half of his attacks, it will be easier to get into range, get to his hips and, once I take him down, I'll get to work”, declared Blaydes in an interview with 'Combate'.

Coming off three consecutive victories, Curtis now occupies a prominent place in one of the most competitive divisions in Ultimate. Performing in an arena without an audience, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the North American believes that the condition could be favorable for a new positive result, as there will be no pressure from the fans.

“It will be a little different. I think it will be a little easier, with less pressure. You won't hear the fans booing when I'm not doing what they don't want. I'm very patient, I don't rush in, so I think the absence of fans also gives me an advantage”, he concluded.
