After being the last victims of the relentless Francis Ngannou, junior gypsy e Jairzinho Rozenstruik were placed on a collision course for a confrontation on August 15, by UFC 252, in a location not yet confirmed. In the meeting between two elite heavyweight athletes (up to 120,2kg), both will try to get back on the path to victory and dream of a title fight.

Having turned 36 in January, the former division champion is coming off two consecutive defeats. After being beaten by Ngannou in June last year, the Brazilian ended up having a new setback when he exchanged forces with Curtis blaydes, in the main event of UFC Raleigh, earlier this year.
In recent months, Cigano has shown that he is more focused on his physical preparation. The athlete has published several images on his social networks proving that he is close to the conditioning he maintained when he became number one in the category. Currently, the Santa Catarina native has 28 fights, with 21 positive results and seven defeats in his record in mixed martial arts.
Considered one of the promises for the division, Rozenstruik must overcome the Brazilian to prove that his success was not just momentary. Before losing to Francis, in May this year, at UFC 249, the Surinamese had 10 wins in a row and didn't know what it was like to lose in MMA.
