After watching yet another relentless performance from Amanda nunes last Saturday (6), at UFC 250, Ultimate's president, Dana White, will have a hard time finding the Brazilian's next opponent. The 'boss', however, ruled out any possibility of holding a trilogy between the 'Lioness' and the current flyweight champion (up to 56,7kg.), Valentina Shevchenko.

The Brazilian and the Kyrgyzstani faced each other for the first time in March 2016, with the 'Lioness' winning the unanimous decision of the judges. In 2017, this time in the fight for the bantamweight title (up to 61,2kg), which already belonged to the Bahian at the time, the Brazilian won again, but this time in a split decision.

White, however, is considering another super fight for Valentina, who has remained undisputed since taking over as number one flyweight. For the representative, it would be viable to hold a confrontation against the strawweight champion (up to 52,1kg.), Weili Zhang.

“I don't think this is the right fight for Valentina. If you look at Amanda, she is the queen of two categories at the moment (cocks and feathers). I think you would see a couple more wins from Weili and this fight (against Shevchenko) would happen before you see Amanda fighting again”, explained Dana.

After each victory in her record, Shevchenko has made it clear that she still intends to make a new challenge with Nunes, as she does not consider that the Brazilian was superior in the last meeting between them. In any case, the Kyrgyzstani will have to wait if she wants to face the Bahian. after the UFC 250, the 'Leoe' stated that she is unlikely to perform again in 2020. The Brazilian is preparing to become a mother for the first time and wants to dedicate time to her family.
