Considered one of the biggest rivals in the career of Amanda nunes, Chris Cyborg spoke out in defense of her compatriot upon learning of the amounts received by the Bahian woman after the UFC 250, held last Saturday (6), in Las Vegas (USA). After learning that the 'Lioness' won US$450 (around R$2.182 million) by winning Felicia spencer, the woman from Curitiba stated that pojucana should be more valued.

“Nunes deserves to receive US$1 million (approximately R$4.850 million) for each fight. I hope that, in total, she receives this”, wrote Cris on her Twitter account.

Cyborg and Nunes created a rivalry that began at the end of 2018, when the Bahian woman shocked the world by defeating her compatriot in the featherweight title fight. At the time, Amanda needed less than a minute to dethrone the Curitiba native, who was known as the most feared woman in MMA and had not lost since her debut in mixed martial arts in 2005.

Although he left Ultimate last year, Cyborg still insists on trying to promote a rematch against the 'Lionea'. Now playing for Bellator, and sporting the organization's featherweight belt, Cris even suggested a 'crossover' show between the UFC and his current company.
