Story (photo) says he will face Demian at UFC Rio 3
The card for the third edition of UFC Rio is taking shape every day. On Tuesday night (31), North American Rick Story announced through his Twitter account that he will face the Brazilian Demian Maia In the event.
The duel will be Demian's second after the athlete from São Paulo moved down to the welterweight division. In his debut in the category, the black belt defeated South Korean Dong Hyun Kim at UFC 148, in early July.
In turn, Story will try to get back on track to compete for the category title. The North American, who has a professional record of 14 wins and five losses, had won six consecutive victories, but after suffering two losses he was far from the belt. However, in his last fight, Rick defeated Brock Jardine at UFC on FX 4 in June.
