Ultimate is close to announcing the location that will host the May 30th card. After a few weeks of uncertainty, the event is expected to be taken to Las Vegas, at the 'UFC Apex', which usually hosts the 'Dana White's Contender Series' fights. The information was given by the company's president, Dana White, in conversation with the 'Las Vegas Review-Journal'.

After holding three events in one week in the city of Jacksonville, Florida (USA), Ultimate now withdraws its entourage from the venue and fulfills its initial desire to promote its shows in Las Vegas. The shows did not previously take place at the UFC headquarters in the city due to the fact that the location complied with preventive measures against the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The transfer of the card to Las Vegas, however, is not yet official. The Nevada Athletic Commission did not authorize the return of fights in the city. Dana White and his team, however, are working with the possibility of 'loosening' restrictions, as happened in Florida and allowed three events to be held in May, including MMA in the 'Essential Services' folder.
If the card is unable to take place in 'Vegas', the Ultimate 'boss' already has an ace up his sleeve. Recently, the president publicly admitted the possibility of promoting the show in Arizona.
The main fight for the May 30th event was recently confirmed. The show will be headlined by the former welterweight champion (up to 77kg.), Tyron woodley and the Brazilian Gilbert Durinho.
