Cigano responds to Overeem and says he is not afraid of anyone in the UFC

During the last week, the Dutch alistair overeem stated that the Brazilian junior gypsy, UFC heavyweight champion, was with afraid to face him. But his rival's provocation didn't go unnoticed by the Brazilian, who returned Alistair's attacks.

Cigano criticized the statements made by Overeem, who is suspended for doping, and compared the Dutchman to Chael Sonnen, rival of Anderson Silva who became known for his provocations through the press.

“Me scared? Apparently Chael Sonnen has made new students. Now he's going to start talking a lot of shit, do you know why? He saw that the UFC gave Chael a chance to fight Anderson again and he wants to do the same with me”, said Cigano, who reaffirmed that he is not afraid of any opponent.

“Man, I’m not scared of him. I'm not afraid of anyone here. If he thinks he's better than me, let him come fight me. Soon he will feel the power of my hands and he will change his mind”, added the Brazilian.

The rivalry between the heavyweights began when Cigano said that Overeem was a cheat, having been caught in a drug test before UFC 146, an event held in May. At the time, the Dutchman would face the Brazilian for the UFC title, and, for Cigano, he did not deserve a new chance to fight for the belt.
