It's not just the UFC that's trying to get around the quarantine and hold events during the coronavirus pandemic. M-1 Global, a Russian event organization that manages the career of Fedor Emelianenko, returned to activities this week, despite the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO).

The location chosen for the show was Belarus, a country that has ignored the recommendations for social isolation in Europe. The show took place without an audience and everyone involved in the promotion – coaches, doctors, referees and judges – wore masks.
The attraction, which featured eight fights, had as its main attraction the victory of Denis Mager against Valijon Serdarov by submission (choke).
M-1 still plans to hold another edition this Saturday (18) in Belarus. However, the attraction had a show scheduled for last Friday (17), in Russia, but it ended up being canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
