Kamaru Usman shows great physical shape in home training

In quarantine, welterweight champion maintains conditioning while respecting social isolation

The closure of gyms, stoppage of events and lack of scheduled fights did not prevent the welterweight champion (up to 77kg.), Kamaru Usman keep fit during the period of social isolation. Proof of this was the release of a video in which the Nigerian appears exercising at home during the quarantine period.

In the images, the champion appears improving his physical conditioning by carrying weights and cycling, showing that he is in great shape.

Recently, the athlete confirmed that he would be ready to perform on the supposed May 9th card (not made official by Ultimate). Without acting since December last year, the fighter stated that, for the right amount of money, he can support the UFC, in case there are any last-minute unforeseen events.

Last Wednesday (15), Usman said that his next title defense will be against his newest rival, Jorge masvidal. The North American is going through a great phase within the organization, coming off three great triumphs.

At 32 years old, Kamaru became UFC champion in March last year, when he defeated Tyron woodley, at UFC 235. The Nigerian, today, has 17 fights, with 16 triumphs and one setback as a professional in MMA.
