This is because the state government authorized WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) to return with its calendar after being made official as an 'essential service'. Released by 'ESPN', the information can serve as a passport for the UFC to use the same logic to broadcast its cards again.

Last week, in response to a request from the top brass at 'ESPN', Ultimate chose to officially halt all its activities. Thus respecting government recommendations prohibiting the promotion of public events, Dana White and her team backed down and gave in to pressure to suspend their official agenda until further notice.
The information that WWE is authorized to resume its shows came from the mayor of Orange County (USA), Jerry Demings, who confirmed the organization's inclusion as 'essential services'. The official decision to add the entity to the list came from Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. At a press conference, Jerry explained the new decision.
“I think that initially there was a review that was carried out and that, at first, it was not considered an essential activity. In speaking with the governor's office regarding his order, they were considered an essential business. So they were allowed to stay open,” Demings said.
After choosing to momentarily postpone the events of the coming weeks, the president of Ultimate, Dana White, stated that he is adapting an island to host events, even in times of pandemic. The expectation is that 'Ilha da Luta' will be ready in a month.
