Ultimate has yet another problem to achieve the UFC 249, which is scheduled for April 18th. Amid the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) and with no official location to hold the card, the company now has to deal with the loss of one of the main stars of the event. One of the protagonists of the co-main fight of the night, Rose namajunas is out of the rematch against Jessica Andrade, the 'Bate-Estaca'. The information was released by 'Combate'.

The reason that motivated Namajunas' departure from the card was not revealed, but it is a fact that Ultimate is now racing against time to find an opponent who might be able to take on the challenge of facing Jéssica, who is having her first fight since lost the strawweight belt (up to 52,1kg) in August last year.
Last week, Andrade published images on her social networks that showed her landing in the United States. The athlete arrived about two weeks before the show with the intention of avoiding problems with a possible border closure, an action that has been taken by some countries as a preventive measure against the spread of the coronavirus.
At the moment, 'Bate-Estaca' occupies the first position in the straw ranking, behind only the champion, Weili Zhang, responsible for dethroning the Pará team in their last commitment.
