"Hey guys. I want everyone to know that I'm feeling better now. To summarize, after nine days of high fever and coughing, I could no longer breathe and had to give up and go to the hospital. He was admitted to the Sant'Anna Hospital, in Como (ITA), and then I was transferred to Lanzo D'Intelvi. I was diagnosed with pneumonia and, of course, COVID-19. Now, I’m trying to get back to normal, so I can come back stronger than before,” said Binda.

The athlete took the opportunity to make his recommendations, with the intention of raising awareness among the world population, especially the Italian population, about the importance of respecting the period of social isolation.

“Two important things: a lot of people were worried and sent me a lot of messages. Please avoid doing this. I get tired just trying to respond to everyone. And most importantly: coronavirus is no joke. Stay at home. I only spent one night in the ICU and it’s worse than Dante’s “Circle of Hell” (Alighieri). It is heartbreaking. Stay home and get through this together. Finally, I want to thank the entire Italian Health System, which is our pride. Now I have to rest. Guard high”, concluded the athlete.

Cristian debuted in MMA in May 2006. The athlete competed in 21 fights as a professional, achieving 11 victories and 10 setbacks. The athlete has not made a professional presentation since 2016.
