The Brazilian Johnny Walker will have a tough commitment this Saturday (14), at UFC Brasilia, when faced Nikita Krylov in one of the most anticipated fights on the card. Coming from defeat to Corey anderson, the light heavyweight (up to 93kg.) needs to win to prove that he is not just a promise, but a reality in the sport and that he can compete on equal terms against opponents from the division's elite. In an interview with 'BJPenn.com', the athlete from Belford Roxo (RJ) showed enthusiasm and commented on his expectations for the new fight.

“You have no idea how much I want to fight. I'm very excited. I want to defeat someone, test myself. You don’t want to hurt someone, you want to knock them out,” said the Brazilian.
Walker, who had been considered one of the possible names to put the title of Jon Jones ended up having his momentum interrupted after the hard setback suffered to Corey anderson in one of the fights UFC 244, in November last year. Four months after the setback, the athlete expressed excitement about the meeting against Krylov.
“I really like this fight. I really think he (Nikita) is a really good opponent for my return because he is a very good fighter. He has a good foot game, a good ground game. He's got some wrestling, he's got some cardio. So, he is a complete fighter. It will be a very good test for me. Beating this guy will tell me I’m ready for the next level,” he said.
Johnny also made a prediction for his future in 2020. For him, a good performance against the Ukrainian could, finally, put him in the front line for a title fight.
“I’m going to work for that (knockout). I will fight the best I can and for what I trained. If I have an opportunity to fight for the belt by the end of the year or the beginning of next year, that's what I want,” he concluded.
