The Fury Fight organization starts working on the first edition of the 2008 show. With the date set for the show, July 12th, in Teresópolis. Rio de Janeiro, the organization aims to put the event's lightweight category belt at stake, the candidates for the title are Rafael dos Anjos and Japanese Otsuka Takafumi.
Both athletes have just won their last fights: Rafael debuted with victory in Pancrase, submitting his opponent via arm-bar in 1R and Takafumi won in Deep by technical knockout also in 1R.
