“I talked to my manager and I'm no longer in the UFC. It would be very easy to give up, but I will move on. I made the changes too late and now I have to pay for it. But I have a clear head right now. I will continue to believe and work towards the next step”, wrote the American.
Adams was discovered by Ultimate on 'Dana White's Contender Series'. The athlete signed his contract with the organization after defeating Shawn Teed with an imposing knockout in the first round.
For the organization, Juan made his debut in a fight against Chris de la Rosa at UFC Milwaukee, in December 2018. On that occasion, the American defeated his opponent by knockout in the third round.
After a good impression, the athlete, however, was unable to repeat his good performance in his next commitment. The fighter ended up defeated by Arjan Singh Bhullar at UFC Ottawa in a unanimous decision by the judges.
Adams' bad phase was confirmed after the American suffered two more consecutive defeats. The last one, which took place last Saturday (8), at UFC 247.
Juan, who arrived undefeated in Ultimate, now has eight appearances and three defeats in his record as a professional in MMA.
Spoke with the manager and I'm not in the ufc anymore. As easy as it would be to give up, I'm going to keep going. I made the changes too late and now I have to pay for that but I have the right pieces in place now. I will continue Hoping and working for the best moving forward.
