The phase couldn't be better for Jairzinho Rozenstruik. Undefeated in his career and with only four UFC fights, the athlete is already working against elite fighters in the heavyweight category (up to 120,2kg). The Surinamese, however, dreams big. With a scheduled fight against Francis Ngannou for March 28th, at ufc columbus, the combatant states that, in case of victory, he intends to ask for the chance to fight for the belt. The statement was made in an interview with 'MMA Junkie'.

“I've heard people say that I should have a chance to fight for the title and I think he (Fracis Ngannou) is risking his chance for this fight. So, I’m going to defeat him, take his opportunity and fight for the belt”, said Jairzinho.
Rozenstruik also made a point of minimizing the dangers that could be posed by Ngannou during the fight. According to the Surinamese, this will not be the first time he has faced an opponent with great physical strength.
“I’ve faced big guys before. Big and scary. I used to knock them out. This time, it will be no different. The only thing I know for sure is that we are working and we will do the job right,” she said.
Due to his recent history in Ultimate, Francis is considered one of the most dangerous athletes in MMA today. With convincing and imposing victories over athletes like junior gypsy, the Franco-Cameroonian, today, occupies a prominent place within its division. Aware of this, Jairzinho made a point of stating that he is about to have the biggest fight of his career to date.
“I don't think he's the best striking player I've ever faced, but he'll be my biggest challenge. We believe we will end it. This is a fight. It will be 'there and here'. Let's see who connects the best blow. Let’s see on March 28th,” he concluded.
