Yves Lavigne (photo) will be the referee of the fight between Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen
The long-awaited rematch between Anderson Silva e Chael Sonnen already has its mediator defined. The Nevada Athletic Commission, the entity responsible for sanctioning the fight, announced that Yves Lavigne will be the referee for the main fight of UFC 148, an event that takes place on July 7, in Las Vegas, in the United States.
Lavigne was already a referee for Andeson's fight, when the Brazilian defeated his compatriot Thales leites at UFC 97, in 2009. He also refereed the fight between Chael Sonnen e Dan Miller, at UFC 98, in a fight won by Sonnen via unanimous decision.
