While the North American is coming off a defeat, Edwards has built, over the last few years, a reputation as one of the most dangerous athletes in the division, beating names like Donald Cerrone e Rafael dos Anjos. English numbers speak for themselves. There are eight victories in a row, a mark that placed him in fourth place in the category ranking, behind only Jorge masvidal, Colby covington and Tyron himself.

Before the setback for the defending champion, Woodley also had a streak of seven challenges without knowing what it's like to lose. To return to title challenger status and thus have the opportunity to regain his old belt, Tyron will have to get past Leon to be able to ask for a confrontation against the champion.
