The 'King' asked and Ultimate must answer. Apparently, the fight between Henry Cejudo e José Aldo will, in fact, happen. According to 'Combate', the company is studying the possibility of marrying a duel between the athletes, competing for the lightweight title (up to 61,2kg), in the main fight of the UFC 250, which could happen in São Paulo.

If confirmed, the duel would take place at the Ginásio do Ibirapuera, the same stage as the show that took place in November last year, which hosted the main stars Ronaldo Jacare e Jan Blachowicz. The chosen date would be May 9th.
The pressure to José Aldo dispute for the bantamweight belt came from the champion himself, Henry Cejudo. According to the athlete, Manauara deserves the chance for his achievements in the history of the sport, in addition to having played a good role in his debut in the new category, even though he was defeated by Marlon moraes No. UFC 245.
Some criticism occurred due to the 'Triple C' challenge. According to some fans and part of the specialized press, Aldo's selection would disrespect the category's ranking, with Manauara coming from two negative results in a row.

Henry Cejudo he's been the rooster champion since he beat Marlon moraes, UFC 238, in June, occupying the post that belonged to TJ Dillashaw, who relinquished the title after being caught in a doping scandal in early 2019.
Aldo is considered, by many, the best athlete in featherweight history (up to 65,7). The fighter was one of the main fighters in Ultimate and was at the top of his former division between 2011 and 2015.
