UFC on FX 3 takes place this Friday with four Brazilians on the card

With four Brazilians in action, the third edition of UFC on FX takes place this Friday, in Sunrise, in the United States. On the preliminary card, Bernardo Trekko, Gaius Monster and Carlos Eduardo “Tá Danado” represent the Tupiniquim flag. On the main card of the show, Erick silva, seeks to forget the UFC Rio 2 controversy and faces the tough Charlie Brenneman.

In the main attraction of the night, Demetrius Johnson and Ian McCallque duel for the chance to fight for the flyweight belt for the unprecedented flyweight belt.

The first fight between Johnson and McCallque was full of controversy. In the duel valid for the semifinals of the flyweight GP, held in March, the athletes fought a very close dispute with McCallque slightly superior, but the judges scored Johnson's victory. However, after the event, Dana White, president of the UFC, announced that one of the judges made a mistake and a draw was declared. As a result, a new duel was scheduled for this Friday.

The winner gets the chance to compete against the already qualified Joseph Benavidez, the first title in the new Ultimate category.

Erick silva and the duel against Brenneman
After two UFC presentations in Brazil, the Espírito Santo Erick silva makes his first fight on international soil. Facing Charlie Brenneman, the Brazilian tries to forget the controversy of his last performance, when he knocked out his compatriot Carlos Prater quickly, but ended up being disqualified by referee Mário Yamazaki, a fact that angered Dana White, who stated that the Tupiniquim athlete would be treated as the winner of the duel.

This Friday, Erick says he already has his tactics mapped out and says he trusts his striking to leave the Octagon with victory. “I already have my game plan. And my plan is to bring him into my game and keep the fight going. Being faster than him and doing what I do every day: trying to beat the guys”, said Erick.
