Willing to return to the Octagon at the beginning of 2020, Bethe Correia appears to have chosen the opponent against whom he wants to trade forces in his first challenge of the year. The former challenger to the bantamweight title (up to 61,2kg.) asked to face North American Trancy Cortez in the UFC London, which takes place on March 21st. The native of Paraíba made the request in an interview with 'MMA Fighting'.

“I did a poll on my social media asking fans who they would like to see me fight in my next challenge. I received many messages from people suggesting a fight against Tracy Cortez and it would be amazing,” said Bethe.
In addition to the desire to return to compete in an official fight for Ultimate, 'Pitbull' revealed that a confrontation in London has been part of a dream since he debuted as a professional in MMA.
“I've always dreamed of fighting in Europe, so I hope I can be on this card. I would be delighted, and I bet the fans would be too,” she confessed.
The Paraíba native also said that she has received messages of support from sports enthusiasts so that the fighter can take her style to a card in Europe. London would be the fifth country, with the exception of Brazil, in which Bethe would perform in her career.
“Fighting in London would be magnificent. I've been getting a lot of messages from the English public and around Europe saying they would like to see me fight there and I would love to terrorize England. I want to interact with the fans during the week of the fight”, he concluded.
Correia comes from victory over sijara eubanks in a duel that took place in one of the fights of UFC Mexico City, in September 2019. The athlete is looking for her second consecutive victory and tries to return to the elite of the division dominated by Amanda nunes.
Tracy, in turn, made his Ultimate debut in UFC Sao Paulo, when he defeated Vanessa melo. The North American has seven wins in eight fights.
