The owner of the title of most 'Thick-skinned' in the UFC, Jorge masvidal never hid the desire to face Conor McGregor in a superfight. However, after several uncertainties about who the Irishman's next opponent will be, after which athlete faces Donald Cerrone, on January 18, the 'bad-boy' showed impatience with the 'Notorious' and demanded that the MMA star make up his mind. The statement was made in an interview with 'ESPN' reporter, Ariel Helwani.

“I would like to do this fight because it would involve a lot of money. He's a guy who was a two-division UFC champion, has some impressive records and is returning to the Octagon. So, from that aspect, it would be a good fight. We both manage to sell fights well, anywhere, and we put on a show of violence”, said Jorge.

The American, however, although he wants to test himself against the Irishman, said he will not join Conor's 'waiting game'. Masvidal had already said in recent statements that he is in a hurry to fight again and make money.

“If the guy doesn’t want to fight, I’m not a bully. Go do your business. If he doesn't want to fight, I don't care. He doesn't want to, that's fine, but don't tease me. If you don't want to fight, leave me alone”, said the 'thick man'.

While Jorge is experiencing a magical moment in his career, after a brilliant 2019, McGregor is trying to regain the prestige within the sport that made him a big MMA star. Without fighting for over a year, the 'Notório' is scheduled to headline the UFC 246, when facing Donald Cerrone among welterweights (up to 77kg.).

The news about facing Conor may not be the most encouraging for Masvidal. After all, if Cerrone wins, the president of Ultimate, Dana White, has already signaled that the athlete could return to lightweight to have a rematch against Khabib Nurmagomedov. McGregor, in turn, recently stated his desire to face Justin gaethje after 'Cowboy'.

  1. I admit one thing, this Conor McChicken is “good on the tongue”, because even though he is no more than a reasonable fighter, in addition to emotionally destabilizing his opponents, he still manages very profitable fights.
