Recovered from a severe depressive crisis, the black belt Paul Philo is ready to defend his WEC title. The Brazilian conceded the rematch to the American Chael Sonnen, September 10th. After defeating Chael Sonnen at WEC 31, Paulão had to hear from his opponent that he had not given up and that Paulão had run away from the rematch, scheduled for WEC 34, but postponed due to the Brazilian's health problems.
