Ultimate decided to give Amanda ribas a true gift. With two fights for the company, the Minas Gerais native will have the chance to perform in front of her audience in one of the fights at UFC Brasilia, which takes place on March 14th. The rival for Minas Gerais was the 'sweetheart' of the North Americans, paige vanzant, who has not performed since January this year. The information was released by 'MMA Fighting'.

If the confrontation is confirmed, Amanda will face an athlete well known to the North American public. VanZant, who underwent arm surgery in 2019, is ready for her return to fighting and, after a moment of discomfort with the company, when she complained about a lack of opportunities, she will have the chance to face a renowned athlete.
Currently, Paige occupies 15th position in the fly rankings, which today is dominated by Valentina Shevchenko. However, the confrontation against the Brazilian must take place in the lower division.
The North American company is currently going through a period of inconsistency when it comes to frequency of presentations. Between 2016 and 2019, VanZant had just four fights, winning two and losing the rest.
A few months ago, the athlete came into conflict with the company's president, Dana White, claiming that she makes more money from posts on her Instagram than from fighting, itself. Aware of the statement, White, in an interview, stated that the combatant could feel free to break her contract and continue with her extra-fight actions.
The relationship between Paige and UFC, however, seems to have improved after the confusion.
At 25 years old, VanZant arrives to face the Minas Gerais native with a record that totals 12 fights, with eight wins and four losses.
Ribas, in turn, has nine professional appearances and only one defeat, which occurred almost four years ago. The fighter comes from three consecutive victories in her career.
