City of winds… and beatings! Chicago, in the United States, was chosen to host the Weekend Of GLORY avalanche of fights, a 'double' of events that will bring editions 71 and 72, on the 22nd and 23rd of November. Brazilians Aline Pereira and Jady Menezes will represent the country in the endeavor.

With emphasis on the super-bantamweight (up to 55.3kg) and the only active female category in the organization), GLORY 71 will feature as its main attraction the trilogy between champion Anissa Meksen (France) and North American challenger Tiffany VanSoest. The score points to two victories for the European athlete, and the new meeting has plenty of potential to be among the best of the season.

Less than two months after her debut with victory in edition 68 (over Thai Chomannee Sor Taehiran), Aline Pereira will be in action. The sister of Alex Poatán Pereira says she is 100% motivated for the new challenge, this time against the American Crystal Lawson.

“I don’t do camp. My training is hard every day, even when I don't have a fight scheduled. And the fact that this return happened quickly was very positive, because we were able to take advantage of the technical ballast from the last fight”, said Aline.

The featherweight belt (up to 65kg) leads the attractions at GLORY 72. Champion Petchpanomrung (Thailand) will attempt the third defense of his title, this time against Russian Alexei Ulianov. Originating from Muay Thai and with devastating kicks and knees, the game adapted to kickboxing has guaranteed the Asian fighter an unbeaten record for seven fights.

Former super bantamweight champion, Jady Menezes from Paraná will also be back after her defeat to Tiffany VanSoest in September. She will face Chomannee Sor Taehiran in another interesting stylistic confrontation between the volume of blows (from the Brazilian) and the punctuality of attacks from the Asian.
