In the second stage, the two combatants seemed to study each other more. With fewer blows thrown, Francisco was looking for the best moment to attack. After three minutes, the Brasilia native risked a sequence of jabs and crosses, which touched his rival, but did not shake the North American. In the second confrontation between Brazilians from UFC Sao Paulo, Douglas D'Silva was responsible for putting more weight on the bad phase of Renan Barao, former lightweight champion of the company. In the confrontation that started with a lot of aggression from both sides, Barão ended up feeling the weight of his rival's hands on a few occasions and, after three rounds, he ended up being declared the loser with a unanimous decision by the judges. The setback marked the fifth consecutive defeat for Renan, who has not won since 2016.

The two athletes began the dispute by studying each other hard. Douglas took more of the initiative in the duel, trying combinations of punches and kicks. Barão seemed to study his opponent and try to find the distance to land the best blow. After two minutes, Renan managed to land a good takedown on D’Silva and raised the crowd at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium. Douglas managed to get up and managed to connect a good sequence of punches, which shook the former flyweight champion. Barão, however, managed to recover and the duel was fought again in the center of the Octagon.

The fight between the Brazilians continued hectic in the second stage. With aggressiveness on both sides, the combatants excited the public with each blow struck. Renan Barao, after two minutes, he took down Douglas again and started to control the time in the confrontation. After little action, the referee requested that the fight be fought again standing up. With 40 seconds left to finish the stage, the fight was stopped so the UFC doctor could analyze a cut on Barão's left eye. The professional then allowed the fight to resume. Renan returned to the confrontation, attacking Douglas and delivering two crosses, which touched his compatriot, but there was no time for anything else.

In the last stage, the combatants entered into a frank exchange. Visibly worn out, some blows began to land cleanly on both sides, until Barão took down D’Silva again and added more points to the final result. Douglas continued to want the fight to stand up and, with two minutes remaining, he surprised the native of Rio Grande do Norte with a powerful cross, which rocked his rival. With his face bloodied, Renan showed courage, but he no longer had the same momentum as at the beginning of the confrontation. In the final seconds, D’Silva tried a round shot, which exploded in Renan’s guard, who was only defending himself. The fight then went to the judges for decision.

Even though she won her first victory since making her Ultimate debut, Ariane Lipski will not have a good memory, at least at first, of the event in the capital of São Paulo. After three well-fought rounds, the athlete, who accepted a replacement opponent just over 24 hours before the clash, triumphed over her compatriot, but ended up being booed after Bruce Buffer's official announcement.

Lipski started the confrontation by attacking Isabela, who, in the first few seconds, threw a series of punches from the Curitiba native and fell to the ground. Ariane tried to end the duel, but Pádua defended well and managed to get out of the bad moment. The fight was fought on the feet again and Lipski continued to be aggressive, trying hard strikes. A jab, followed by a straight shot again shook Isabela, but the fighter managed to land Ariane a good takedown and she fell on top. Pádua then started hitting the Curitiba native with some hard blows from top to bottom. The fight was fought on the ground until the end of the round.

The fight returned with excitement, with the fighters exchanging punches in the center of the Octagon. With the intention of continuing to fight on the ground, Isabela tried to take the fight to the ground. Ariane defended herself and ended up falling on top and started to dominate the duel. The fight was interrupted after, from below, Pádua threw an illegal kick to Lipski's face. The athlete was punished with one point and the duel restarted in the position they were in. With a minute left until the end of the stage, Ariane continued attacking her rival with punches from top to bottom. At the end of the round, Isabela tried a submission and almost made her opponent give up.

In the last round, Pádua, in the opening seconds, once again landed a good takedown on the Curitiba native. At a disadvantage, Lipski tried to defend herself from her opponent's attacks, but Isabela continued trying to resolve the fight without the judges' decision, as she lost a point in the previous round. With just over a minute left until the end of the fight, Ariane managed to reverse the position and ended up on top, throwing blows and trying to score and win the duel.
