Ariane Lipski's presence in the UFC Sao Paulo It's been a real soap opera. The Curitiba native, who was supposed to face her compatriot, Priscila Pedrita At first, her opponent was changed after the Brazilian tested positive for a banned substance in an anti-doping test. Ultimate acted quickly and scaled Veronica macedo to face Lipski. The situation changed again after Ariane's rival fell ill this morning and was removed from the card. Close to midnight, the board, again, tried a new name and arrived at Isabela de Pádua, who agreed to the dispute.

Running out of time, the UFC would need to find an opponent capable of standing up to the Curitiba native, who, despite not yet having won in the UFC in two fights, is famous for her physical strength and knockout ability.
Pádua was born in Campinas and is an athlete for Team Nikolai MMA. The fighter has six fights as a professional and last fought in October this year, when she defeated compatriot Rayanne Amanda by knockout.
Lipski made his Ultimate debut in January of this year. Hired as a promise for the flyweight division (up to 56,7kg), Ariane still hasn't managed to win, having competed in two fights; the last, in June.
Isabela fails at the weigh-in
The fight between Lipski and Pádua is not yet 100% confirmed. Called at the last minute, Isabela was unable to reach the division's weight limit, but Ariane accepted the challenge and secured herself in the second fight on the preliminary card of the UFC Sao Paulo.
Ariane, today, has a record of 16 fights, 11 wins and five losses. When she arrived in Ultimate, Lipsiki was on a nine-fight winning streak.
