This isn't the first time Gaethje has suggested a fight against Conor McGregor. After he defeated Edson Barbosa, in March of this year, the North American began a real hunt for the Irishman. Justin's request, however, was never fulfilled. However, the North American received the chance to face Donald Cerrone in a duel that would put him on the front line to face the winner between the champion Khabib Nurmagomedov e Tony Ferguson, which has everything to be a title fight.
With no real chance of acting as number one at the moment, Gaethje, therefore, wants a fight against Conor, who hasn't fought since October last year, when he was beaten by Khabib in a duel valid for the lightweight belt (up to 70,3kg). ).
