Erivan Conceição gained prominence in the world of fights as a coach for names such as Anderson Silva, Rodrigo Minotauro, Rogério Minotouro e junior gypsy. However, the boxing instructor's name was made public this weekend on suspicion of a serious crime. He was accused by two students of sexual harassment and rape within a social project. The report was released by the Fantástico program, on Rede Globo, this Sunday (13).

According to the article, the abuse happened in 2015, when the girls were 13 and 14 years old. According to the complaint, they had sexual intercourse without consent and were assaulted by Erivan. The incident took place in a social project run by Team Nogueira, the brothers' academy Rodrigo Minotauro e Rogério Minotouro.
Camila Borges Araújo, one of the victims (the other preferred not to identify herself), said that the harassment began with an attempted kiss and went on to a threesome with Erivan's wife, “Yes (she was forced to have sex with the coach and his wife), it was both of them. I was alone, I said: 'They're going to kill me'”, she reported.
Whistleblowing
The two athletes went to the Women's Assistance Police Station (DEAM) only in February this year and filed a complaint. Erivan was denounced by the Public Ministry of Rio de Janeiro and became a defendant for sexual harassment and rape of a vulnerable person. The penalty can be up to 15 years in prison.
Erivan defends himself and denies accusations
When contacted by the Fantástico report, Erivan Conceição preferred not to record an interview, but spoke through lawyers. In a statement, the coach's defense denied the accusations. “The facts narrated in the complaint are not true, as are any insinuations of violence or embarrassment, as Erivan did not commit any crime”
Away from Team Nogueira
Even with the case still in the investigation process and no trial scheduled, Erivan was removed from his role at Team Nogueira, according to the partner and fighter Rogério Minotouro: “We, as an institution, as soon as we found out, our position is very strict and very clear to remove this professor.”
