No 'royal belt' dispute in UFC 244, Ultimate is investing heavily in promoting the event. After deleting the duel between Kamaru Usman e Colby covington in dispute for the welterweight belt (up to 77kg.) the company decided to climb Nate diaz e Jorge masvidal to star in the card, which takes place on November 2nd. In addition to creating a symbolic title, which will be given to the winner of the fight, president Dana White stated that 'The Rock', WWE star and famous action film actor, will be responsible for putting the belt on the winner of the duel. The statement was made in an interview with 'TMZ Sports'.

“The UFC has actually already ordered this belt to be made, which will cost approximately US$50 (around R$209). The Rock himself will be responsible for delivering it. He will do my job. If The Rock wants it, he can do it,” White joked.
A few weeks ago, Masvidal had formally invited the actor through a social network so that the star could be present in Las Vegas and represent Dana White by placing the belt on the winner of the duels. It didn't take long for 'The Rock' to respond positively to the invitation, as long as his diary was empty on the day of the event.
