Khabib has become known for his actions on behalf of the less fortunate. In an interview after the UFC 242, the athlete was even willing to headline a card to take place in Africa. According to the athlete, with just one event in the region, a high amount could be raised and the money collected could be passed on in full to the local population, who suffer from various social problems.

The fighter, too, preaches material detachment. In a recent interview, the athlete mentioned that money does not seduce him. The fighter, according to him, can now be considered a rich man and he is not driven by profit. Recently, the fighter's father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, announced that Khabib is unlikely to act for much longer.
