Ultimate fulfilled the wishes of two fighters on the rise in the company and asked them to star in one of the last numbered events of the year. Nata Diaz and Jorge masvidal will promote the main combat of the UFC 244, which takes place on November 2nd in New York. With a symbolic belt at stake, the athletes will try to make up for the absence of an official title from the company in the main role of the show. The former champion, however, stated that he believes that the duel, in itself, will bring good pay-per-view sales to the organization. Michael, however, confirms that it will not be compared to what was between the duels that involved Diaz and Conor McGregorIn 2016.
“I’m not saying it won’t be convincing. I'm not saying it won't be necessary to watch it on TV, or that the fight won't work. I will watch).
