Considered one of the main athletes in the middleweight category in MMA, the Cuban Hector Lombard will make his Ultimate debut against Brian Stann, at UFC on FOX 4, an event scheduled for August 4th, in the United States. And the former Bellator champion, who has been undefeated for 25 fights, is looking for victory to fight for the Ultimate belt against the winner of the duel between Anderson Silva e Chael Sonnen.
In the confrontation, Lombard believes he can win the fight on the ground and also with striking, Stann's specialty.
“I have a lot of experience, but I'm taking this very seriously. My game plan is to win. I'm not going to go there and say that I'm just going to stand. I'm going there to win, no matter what. If I have to change, I will change. If we have to go to the floor, let's go to the floor. At the end of the day, this is MMA,” said Lombard, in an interview with Fuel TV.
