One of the biggest recent rivalries in the history of Brazilian MMA had a quick and shocking end. Known for his aggressive Muay Thai game, challenger Cleiton “Predador” surprised and submitted Luan “Miau” Santiago in just 32 seconds in the main fight of the explosive BRAVE 25. It was the biggest moment of Cleiton's career who, at 33 years old, makes him the oldest champion in BRAVE history.

Coming in as the favorite, current champion Luan “Miau” tried to surprise his archrival right at the beginning of the fight, by attacking a single leg. CM System's promise did not count, however, on the fluidity of the challenger's ground game, who quickly reversed and attacked the back.
Before he could get the hooks in, “Predator” attacked the champion's neck and immobilized him, making him give up. The victory of the home athlete made Arena Minas Tênis Clube explode with joy with the victory of the challenger, who became the fourth Brazilian champion of the BRAVE Combat Federation.
Ex-UFC, Matheus Nicolau wins another
Former UFC, Matheus Nicolau He won again at bantamweight, this time in his debut for BRAVE CF. The Minas Gerais native left the American company with a positive record and continued his career climb with an excellent victory over Felipe Efrain, former 61 kg challenger for the BRAVE belt.
Showing an ever-increasing range of striking options, Nicolau seriously injured Efrain's front leg with low kicks, in addition to investing in hard hooks to his opponent's liver. The decision victory puts him directly on a collision course with the current world bantamweight champion, the Filipino Stephen Loman.
