After many negotiations and a year of speculation, K-1 finally returns to the world stage. Considered the biggest striking event in the world, five stages have been defined for 2012 and the first of them will be on May 27th, in Madrid, Spain.
The return event will have as one of the attractions the Brazilian Anderson “Bradock” Silva, who will face none other than Badr Hari, one of the main names in the category in the world.
“I'm training a lot for this fight. At first my training was focused on Melvin Manhoef. But the organization got in touch and informed me that due to contractual problems Melvin couldn't fight and they offered me the fight against Badr Hari. As I had been waiting for this opportunity for a long time, I didn't hesitate and accepted it immediately,” said the Brazilian, who despite being considered the underdog is confident of victory against the Moroccan.
“Many people tell me that the simple fact that I fight well will be a victory. But I'm very focused and determined in training and more than just fighting well, I'm going to look for victory” added Anderson.
In addition to the confrontation between Hari and Bradock, the event will feature four more major duels whose main names will be athletes such as Mirko Crocop, Daniel Ghita and Paul Slowinski.
The same event also takes place in the round of XNUMX of the World Max category, which will feature athletes of the caliber of Andy Sower, Gago Drago, Mike Zambidis and Artur Kyshenko.
