The novel involving Chris Cyborg and his renewal with the UFC is far from over. The Brazilian's stay at the event, however, gained a strong supporter. The straw champion (up to 52,1kg.), Jessica Stacker, revealed her support for the Curitiba native to reach an agreement with the Ultimate board, agree on her contract renewal and once and for all confirm her rematch against Amanda nunes. In an interview with 'Combate', Andrade revealed that he is a fan of his compatriot and said he has followed Cris' career since he was young.

“Cris (Cyborg) is an icon of MMA, of sport. I believe that, being in the UFC, she attracts a lot of attention. If one day she leaves the UFC and goes to another event, the UFC will really lose a great fighter, a true warrior woman, who catches the public's attention when she enters the fights. A Chris Cyborg is Chris Cyborg. There's no way.

Bate-Estaca also revealed his excitement at seeing Cyborg's performance last weekend, when she defeated former Invicta FC champion Felícia Spencer in the co-main fight of UFC 240 in Edmonton (CAN). For Jéssica, the fighter managed to show the same performance as when the Curitiba native was part of the group of Strikeforce and Invicta athletes. In the fight, Cris managed to overcome her opponent for three rounds and won the duel with a unanimous decision from the judges.

“I really believe in Chris Cyborg. And the Cris I saw fighting over the weekend is the one I saw at Strikeforce and Invicta. That technical and aggressive woman at the same time, who goes inside, defends takedowns, gets in on takedowns. This is Chris Cyborg that I grew up watching”, praised the Brazilian.

Andrade also took the opportunity to say that he gave his opinion on who would win a possible rematch in the future. The strawweight champion said she imagined that Cyborg, defeated by 'The Lioness' in December, would win in a repeat of the fight. Jéssica also said that she disagreed with Amanda's attitude in trying to compete for her second belt against an athlete representing the same country. For Bate-Estaca, there was no need for Nunes' second belt to be won over a compatriot, since there was the possibility, according to Jéssica, of the Bahian woman trying to win the title in the lower category (flies), currently reigned by Valentina Shevchenko, whom Pojucana has already defeated on two occasions.

“I believe that, if there is this rematch, she will be able to bring this belt back and will be the new champion. We want to have three champions and not one with two belts and another with one. It would have been cool if Amanda had fought in the women's category. Valentina Shevchenko, who is not Brazilian. Looking for the belt from another Brazilian I thought was a bit boring. But, it’s okay, I believe Cris will be able to recover”, concluded Bate-Estaca.

Jéssica will defend her belt for the first time on August 31st. The athlete will face the Chinese Weili Zhang by UFC Shenzhen. This will be the Brazilian's first fight since the champion defeated the North American Rose namajunas in the strawweight title dispute.
