Different from what was seen on Media Day, on Thursday (04), where Jon Jones turned sideways, at the ceremonial weighing of the UFC 239 the North American and Thiago Marreta They stood face to face, eye to eye. First to be announced, Marreta arrived on stage accompanied by his coach Tatá Duarte. Wearing sunglasses and flip-flops, the Brazilian screamed as soon as the weight of 92.5 kg was announced.

In turn, Jones arrived to an ovation from the fans. He weighed 93 kg and, like the Brazilian athlete, screamed when the weight was announced.

In the second most important fight of the UFC 239, the atmosphere of respect remained between the bantamweight champion Amanda nunes and the challenger Holly holm.

The North American was almost 700g below the division's limit of 56.7, while the Brazilian was within the weight limit. The look between the women was mild, with a lot of respect.

Amanda promised to win and take home the new belt, while Holly said she was on a new journey and ready to beat the Lioness.
