The duel between the heavyweights (up to 120kg.) junior gypsy e Francis Ngannou has generated a lot of expectation in the world of MMA. The event will mark the meeting of two athletes famous for their knockout power and the aggressiveness with which they face their opponents. The Brazilian is aware of this and stated that the fight should end in the first round. The statement was made in a recent interview with 'MMA Fighting'.

“I think the fight has everything to end in the first round. I move very well. I move a lot, but always attacking. Being aggressive. He can get ready to dance. I’m going to move like Muhammad Ali”, declared Cigano, comparing himself to one of the greatest boxers of all time.

Confident in his strategy and talent, the Brazilian, however, tries to praise his opponent this Saturday. For Júnior, Francis is the most dangerous athlete in MMA. The Santa Catarina native is fully aware of the strength that the French-Cameroonian carries in his fists, but says he is prepared for one of the biggest challenges of his career.

“Ngannou is a very strong guy. He has heavy hands. I think it's not an exaggeration to say he's the most dangerous person in MMA today. An incoming blow, even a glancing blow, will knock you out. He's dangerous and I'm preparing for that. I know his potential, the dangers he poses in the fight, but this is the type of challenge that excites me,” said Júnior.

Even with the notion of Francis' power, Cigano says he is used to facing high-level athletes. The fighter, however, highlighted that he comes from battles against great fighters and that he defeated them all.

“I always want to face the best. I've faced three tough guys in my last three engagements. Guys who were coming off victories. But I went there and defeated everyone. That’s what I’m going to do on Saturday”, concluded the Brazilian.
