More changes to the UFC-85 card

The 85th edition of the UFC is haunted. The event that was launched with the main fight between Chuck Liddell and Mauritius Shogun, is now completely changed. The first casualty was the Brazilian Shogun, due to a knee injury.

With this, the UFC organization pulled Rashad evans, who would fight with Thiago Silva at UFC 84, to do the main event of the show with Chuck, however, the “Iceman” suffered a serious muscle injury to his thigh. James Irvin was called up to face Evans.

With all the casualties, the main event was in charge of Matt hugs and Thiago “Pitbull” Alves, but for those who thought the problems were over, this Tuesday the show suffered another loss. James Irvin, broke his foot during training

Hours later, the UFC website listed Brazilian Luiz as a replacement to face Rashad, abandoning the already scheduled clash with Jason Lambert on the non-televised card. Ultimately, they came to the conclusion that it was best to simply remove Evans from the card and promote Thales leites and Nate Marquardt for the televised show, so Banha will still face Lambert.
