The Russian legend Fedor Emelianenko will have a Brazilian as his next challenge in MMA. The former Pride champion faces Pedro Rizzo, who is the former owner of the UFC belt. The duel is scheduled to take place on June 21st, in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
The clash against Rizzo will be Fedor's ninth fight against a Brazilian. In his recent presentations against Brazilian athletes, the Russian comes from a defeat to Fabricio Werdum e Antonio Pezão. However, before the clashes, Emelianenko accumulates victories over Ricardo arona, Renato Babalu, Rodrigo Minotauro (twice) and Zuluzinho. In addition to a “No Contest” (no result) against Minotauro
With a record of 33 wins and just four losses, Fedor is considered the greatest heavyweight of all time. Despite the bad phase he experienced in 2010 and 2011, when he accumulated three consecutive defeats, the Russian recovered and has two consecutive victories. In his last appearance, Emelianenko knocked out Satoshi Ishiiin December 2011.
In turn, Rizzo, who has a professional record of 19 wins and nine losses, hasn't fought since May 2011. Even so, the Brazilian's form is good, considering that he's coming off three consecutive victories. In his last fight, Rizzo knocked out Ken Shamrock at Impact FC 2.
Fatal change? Makhachev ignores warning and could end tragically at welterweight!

Rizzo hasn't retired yet? I've run out of time for him.
Rizzo hasn't retired yet? I'm done with his time.
