MMA gains yet another important space in the United States. The Arizona state senate officially authorized the sport's competitions by 21 votes to 8 in the state. The events will be regulated by the State Boxing Commission.
Until now, the state of Arizona allowed MMA with several restrictions such as punches to the face on the ground, with the change in rules the sport will have rules similar to those in the states of Nevada and New Jersey
