The UFC 240 card may have added another great duel, in addition to the fight for the featherweight belt (up to 65,7 kg) between Max Holloway and Frank Edgard. According to 'Combate', in a note published this Wednesday (22), Brazilians Deiveson Figueiredo e Alexandre pantoja will face each other at UFC 240, which will take place on July 27th, in Canada. The athletes will perform in the mocha category (up to 56,7kg), which is at risk of extinction.

With each passing day, the flyweight category is at greater risk of being removed from the Ultimate division group. Despite the risks, the company's management continues to schedule clashes between fighters in the division. This time, Alexandre and Deiveson, currently in third and fourth position in the rankings, were scheduled to exchange forces and try to qualify for the title fight.
Currently, the Olympic champion Henry Cejudo is the title holder. However, the athlete will venture into the bantamweight category (up to 51,2) in order to conquer the position of number one in the division, abandoned by TJ Dillashaw before he was caught and suspended for doping in March this year.
Pantoja and Figueiredo live different moments in the organization. Alexandre, 29, is looking for his fourth consecutive victory in the flyweight division. His last performance took place in April, at UFC 236, when he defeated his compatriot and former title challenger, Wilson reis, by knockout in the first round.
Deiveson, however, suffered his first career defeat after 15 fights. The athlete was defeated by his compatriot Jussier formiga, in March, by unanimous decision of the judges.
The Tupiniquim duel, then, will represent a direct fight for the category's ranking and will bring the winner, if the division is maintained, closer to the title dispute.
