The loss that occurred at the event, in Singapore to Cosmo, ended a winning streak of three consecutive victories for the North American; all of them for Ultimate.

Since December 2018, ONE's management had been looking forward to Sage's debut for the company. However, Alexandre thwarted everyone's plan by defeating Northcutt by knockout just 29 seconds into the match, giving the athlete no chance to show his skills.

The future for Sage, at the moment, is to wait for his injuries to recover and plan a next fight for the company, which currently also features the Brazilian Vitor belfort in your group of athletes.

At 23 years old, Nothcutt has 14 fights, 11 wins and three losses. The athlete emerged as a great promise for the UFC in 2015, when he won two consecutive victories, at the age of 19, and caught the eye of the company's president, Dana White. The good moment, however, lasted until January 2016, when Sage was defeated by Bryan Barbarena via submission.
