Super Challenge Grappling announced today the fight match between the 16 athletes who will enter the mat at Clube Athletico Paulistano, next Saturday, December 8th. The announcement was made by Paulo Vasconcellos, president of West Promotion, the company responsible for producing the tournament, who stated that he had selected the fights based on what he and the public would like to see. “We will start the event with a series of fights, giving some athletes the opportunity for a rematch and offering the public with fights that many would like to see”, explains Vasconcellos. The announcement came followed by the presentation of fighter Eduardo Teles in the place that belonged to American Jeff Monson. According to the organization, even with the contract signed, Monson has not been found and appears to have abandoned the event without any explanation.
