The Brazilian Priscila Pedrita was defeated again in Ultimate. In a Brazilian duel held on Saturday night (11), the athlete showed a lot of willpower, but was defeated by Luana Caroina in a unanimous decision by the judges in the UFC 237. With the new setback, the athlete runs the risk of being fired by the organization.

The fight
Pedrita started the fight by immediately attacking her opponent. Luana, however, tried to grab her opponent to cool down the fight. Priscila managed to get away and went after her compatriot again. Carolina remained circulating around the Octagon without showing much action. She seemed to be trying to tire Pedrita. At all times, Priscila walked forward trying to hit her opponent.
The second started like the first, with Pedrita attacking her opponent. This time, Luana accepted the frank exchange and also sought the knockout. Little by little, Priscila seemed to get tired due to the countless blows given. In a moment of pure happiness, Luana managed to land a beautiful kick to Pedrita's face, who fell almost knocked out, but managed to recover, showing a lot of courage. Carolina, halfway through the round, landed a knee on Priscila and the referee momentarily interrupted the fight to check the athlete's condition. Showing a lot of courage, Pedrita chose to continue in the fight even though she was visibly shaken. When the stage ended, Priscila received a standing ovation from the audience present.
In the last stage, Pedrita was already very tired. Luana noticed her opponent's condition and continued attacking the athlete's body, seeking to end the duel. Even though she was exhausted, Priscila still tried a few blows on her opponent, who tried to move away by circling the Octagon. Arriving at the end of the round, Carolina began to land some blows to the body and her physical strength was no longer superior. The fight then became open and balanced. In the end, both athletes were likely to suffer a knockout, but the result was up to the judges to decide.
BJ Penn loses again and completes seven consecutive defeats
One of the great legends of MMA, B.J. Penn was defeated again and suffered his seventh consecutive defeat after a three-round duel against the North American Clay guida. Also a veteran, Guida made a point of confirming his idolization for his opponent, who was already an Ultimate champion in two different categories.
The two athletes started the fight moving a lot. The Brazilian public encouraged and celebrated each effective attack by the Hawaiian. Guida, as always, kept moving around the Octagon a lot. Penn then pursued his opponent and tried to find the distance to connect his blows. The fighters managed to land some blows, but without force.
The second round started like the first, with the athletes moving and exchanging blows in the center of the octagon. Guida, although he showed good physical conditioning, was not effective when delivering his blows. Most passed in the void, far from BJ's meeting. At the end of the stage, Clay started trying to take down his opponent, but Penn defended very well. With 10 seconds left to end the round, Guida got the takedown, but there was no more time for anything.
In the last round, Guida began determined to end the fight. Visibly married, Penn became an easy target for his opponent and received hard blows to the body. At the end of the fight, Clay landed a good blow with his left fist on BJ, taking the Hawaiian legend to the ground. Penn, however, showed heart, got up and returned to battle.
Raoni Barcelos is scared, but surpasses Peruvian rival
The Brazilian Raoni barcelos almost had his fight canceled UFC 237. Your opponent, Said Nurmagomedov left the card without justification with just over two weeks remaining until the clash. In a hurry, Peruvian Carlos Huachin was hired to face the Rio native.
Raoni and Carlos started the fight studying each other hard in the center of the Octagon. The athletes threatened to throw some blows, but hesitated. Huachin was confident with his left hand and managed to connect some good blows to the Brazilian's face, who had difficulty finding the distance.
In the second round, Raoni changed his strategy and started looking for his opponent's legs and taking the fight to the ground. Huachin, however, was well prepared in takedown defense, frustrating the Brazilian's attacks. Almost halfway through the round, however, Barcelos landed a great blow to the Peruvian's face, who collapsed to the ground. The Brazilian then went after his opponent to try for a knockout or a submission. Carlos showed a lot of resistance and didn't allow Raoni to end the fight.
Almost at the end of the fight, Barcelos landed a large sequence of elbows on his opponent's face, who was still on the ground, leading the referee to end the duel.
