It felt like a repeat movie. Anderson Silva in front of his fans, he feels his leg and falls injured in the octagon. The Brazilian fought a studied fight against Jared Cannonier, but received a hard kick to the knee and fell injured. The fight was an attraction for UFC 237, held this Saturday (11), in Rio de Janeiro.

Following the result, the 'Spider' recorded six defeats in their last eight matches. In turn, Cannonier recorded his second triumph in the series in the middleweight division.
The fight
The two athletes started the duel studying each other a lot. With a focused look, Anderson kept his gaze fixed on Jared's right hand, which is well known for its knockout power. Little by little, Silva began to loosen up in the fight and landed a beautiful kick to his opponent's head. The North American tried to hit the Brazilian in the face, who seemed very concentrated. At the end of the fight, Jared kicked Silva's right knee, which immediately fell to the ground, requiring the referee's intervention, which ended the fight.
