Jessica Andrade saved the Brazilian night in UFC 237. After the defeats of Anderson Silva e José Aldo, the Paraná native made the fans happy by knocking out Rose namajunas in the second round and win the Ultimate strawweight belt. The fight was the main attraction of the show, held this Saturday (11), in Rio de Janeiro.

The Brazilian reached the triumph making her nickname worth it. After a difficult first round, she pinned her rival head first to the ground and took the belt in brutal fashion.
With the triumph, 'Bate-Estaca' became the woman with the most victories in the history of Ultimate, surpassing names like Ronda Rousey, Rose namajunas, Joanna Jędrzejczyk and even Amanda nunes, current champion bantamweight (up to 61,2kg.) and featherweight (up to 65,7kg.).
After the fight, the Brazilian showed a lot of humility and made a point of thanking her opponent and, now, former champion, Rose namajunas for coming to Brazil to defend the title.
The fight
The athletes started the fight with a lot of movement. Right at the beginning of the fight, a blow from the champion opened a cut on the Brazilian's face. With sharp boxing, Rose began connecting clean blows to Jessica's face. 'Bate-Estaca' then managed to lift the American and get a good takedown. Namajunas, however, was attentive and, after action from Andrade, almost managed a submission. At the end of the round, the Brazilian felt the weight of the champion's punch and fell to the ground after a blow. Namajunas then almost got a submission after the moment.
In the second stage, the athletes attacked each other again. The Brazilian received hard blows against her opponent, however, in the middle of the round, the fighter managed to suspend the champion and then violently threw the North American to the ground, who fell unconscious after a real 'stamp'.
