The Brazilian Claudia Gadelha can return to the octagon to face Randa markos No. UFC 239, on July 6th. The information was released last Tuesday night (30). The former challenger for the strawweight title (up to 52,1 kg.) seeks to return to the path of victories in Ultimate.

If the duel is confirmed, Gadelha will be the fourth Brazilian to perform at the event, which already has Thiago Marreta facing up Jon Jones for the light heavyweight belt (up to 93 kg.) in the main fight. In addition to Thiago, junior gypsy faces Francis Ngannou e Amanda nunes puts the title of the bantamweight division (up to 61,2kg.) at stake against the former champion, Holly holm.
Cláudia hasn't fought since December last year, when she faced Nina ansaroff and was defeated by unanimous decision of the judges. The Brazilian was considered a potential candidate for the UFC belt, however, in recent years, the fighter has been facing ups and downs in her record.
Currently in fifth place in the rankings of her division, Gadelha, 30 years old, has nine fights for the UFC, with six wins and four losses. In her last six commitments, the Brazilian suffered three setbacks.
The Brazilian's opponent, Randa markos, however, is only in 14th place in the category. The 33-year-old fighter born in Baghdad debuted for the UFC in 2014. Since then, the athlete has had a negative record, with 10 fights, five defeats, four wins and one draw.
