Flyweight Marcel Adur may be coming off a defeat, but he already wants another shot at the Brave title. The Brazilian made a point of challenging ex-UFC Jose Torres, who debuted in the organization with a victory last week, by overcoming amir albazi at BRAVE 23, held in Amman, Jordan.

Through his social networks, Marcel said that the American needed to face a “real fighter” in his next fight. Torres immediately accepted the striker's challenge and praised Adur's credentials, but needled him regarding his latest defeat.

“Marcel Adur is a great striking athlete. I think it would be a great fight for the fans, as we are two flyweights who like to exchange and put on a show. We have the energy to fight for five rounds, as we have shown before. The difference is that I've never lost a title fight and he has. I don’t intend to lose either”, commented Torres.

The American is referring to Adur's duel with Alkhasov, which would have been for the flyweight title, but as the Russian didn't make weight, the belt would only be owned if the Brazilian won. Marcel could not resist Velimurad's strength and ended up defeated by his opponent's superior wrestling game, which was not ignored by Torres.

PUBLICITY:

“He already had his chance against a dominant wrestler and lost the fight. I'm sure he doesn't have a chance against a wrestler who also strikes very well, like me. If BRAVE fans want this fight, let's make it happen. Regardless, I'm sure I'll be the first flyweight champion in Brave's history”, said “Shorty”.
