Ortega agrees to medical interruption and says: 'I was willing to die there'

'T-City' survived Holloway's attacks for four rounds, but at the end of the penultimate round the doctor interrupted the duel when he realized that the athlete was no longer fit to fight

Max Holloway dominated Brian ortega and won the main fight of UFC 231, last Saturday (08) in Toronto (CAN). 'T-City' managed to survive 'Blessed''s attacks in the four rounds of the duel. The featherweight champion struck his rival 134 times but he still wasn't knocked out. However, at the end of the penultimate round the doctor interrupted the duel when he realized that the North American was no longer in a position to fight.

Ortega spoke about the first defeat of his career through his social networks on Sunday (09). Brian agreed to a medical stoppage in the fourth round and revealed that he had a broken nose and thumb.
